Job Description

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing Bi­weekly and Monthly payrolls in SAP, as well as reconciling and submitting print, tax and garnishment extracts to ADP.
This position is also responsible for employee data audits (garnishments) and additional projects as assigned.
Core Responsibilities:
• Process payrolls in SAP, (Bi­weekly and Monthly) off cycle payrolls, and extract and reconcile ADP files each payroll.
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmation reports
• Schedules and executes jobs and reports within SAP
• Develop ad hoc reporting as needed
• Completes funding information for scheduled payrolls and ad hoc payments as needed.
• Creates weekly/ month end/ quarterly kpi’s in accordance with PY Manager requirements
• Assists employees with basic payroll questions and W2 issuance as needed
• Serves as backup to other payroll processors (Payroll Administrator)
• Legal subpoena data collection
• Responsible for administration of Company Car database and imputed income reconciliations
• Primary responsibility (year­end) processing calendars, audit of EE records, automation of Payroll
• SAP/ADP System enhancement testing
• Performs compliance duties for unclaimed property (escheatment)
• Performs analysis and research related to payroll processing

Required Qualifications:
• High Scholl Diploma
• 3 years payroll experience
• Strong PC skills including proficiency in excel
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5 years of payroll experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Ability to deal sensitively with confidential information and material
• Capability to work in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of payroll practices
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail skills
• Capability of performing, understanding and explaining to EE’s payroll and tax calculations
• Strong knowledge of Federal and State Tax and Garnishment regulations
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external customers/ partners.
