Job Description

Overview:
Responsible for Account Management and Sales of Continental product lines. Main interface between customer and Continental to ensure that customer needs are met and company standards are maintained.

Core Responsibilities:
- Estimates and analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred.
- Identifies and contacts potential new Key customers.
- Keeps in contact with clients, answers their questions, and deals with complaints.
- Predicts future market trends and develops new sales ideas.
- Interprets accounts and records to management.
- May be responsible for sales budget and attending trade shows and conferences.

Essential Functions:
- Maintains accurate records and closes pricing accruals, outstanding tool collections, ED&T owed and other balance sheet topics.
- Works with customer to identify acquisition opportunities and leads internal team during quote activities.
- Develops strategic view of business; where to grow how to get there.
- Works with plants during new product launches to mitigate any supply chain problems and support perfect launch initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree.
- Required Experience: Minimum 7 years.
- Must be proactive and demonstrate a bias for action, taking initiative and 'owning' the results.
- Must demonstrate a strong team approach and willingness to step in where and when needed to help solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in technical field.
- 10+ years of Automotive Account Management experience.
