Job Description

Core Responsibilities:
• Establishment, management and further development of new and existing customer accounts as well as channel partners
• Definition and execution of go-to-market and sales strategies
• Revenue (order intake) planning as well as creation of reports to drive the business and projects with customers.
• Responsibility for the design and delivery of customer solutions.
• Customer feedback on product creation and optimization to product management.
• Contract negotiations with decision makers and senior management of international customers in the areas of automotive, fleet and location based services.
• Analysis of national and international competitors and the NA market.
• Definition of product pricing in close alignment with Continental departments.
• Close coordination with the Continental legal department on customer contracts.
• Definition, management and execution of necessary business processes and interfaces to marketing, product management, IT, legal, and customer support, etc.
• Support of interview processes and of training activities for new employees / team members of the eHorizon team.
• Performance reviews of team members with functional and/or local responsibility.
• Management of all activities to respond to RFI/RFQs.
• Product presentations at customer events, trade shows and other business opportunities.
• Representation of eHorizon and ITS within Continental and externally.

Required Qualifications:
• BS ME, EE, Computer Science or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of business experience in automotive, IT or service sales position.
• Experience in the startup of sales organization.
• Ability to run projects/tasks independently / to take initiative / to set priorities.
• Ability to work on complex systems and to develop a system understanding.
• Excellent team, communication and motivation skills.
• Ability to manage an international sales team.
• PC knowledge (MS Word; PowerPoint; Excel, Lotus Notes).
• Ability to travel.
• Intercultural competency.
• Excellent manners towards customers, visitors, supervisors and employees.

Preferred Qualifications:
• MS ME, EE, Computer Science or relevant experience.
• 8+ years of automotive sales experience.
• Language skills: English mandatory, German and French beneficial.
• Automotive, IT service and service pricing experience beneficial.
