Overview:
The Hardware Technician is responsible for providing direct support to engineers to design and develop advanced driver assistance system control modules, radar, camera, and lidar sensors from concept phase to production.

Core Responsibilities:
• Coordinating testing and work requests from engineering team
• Place and track orders for parts/services
• Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, or systems to correct functional deviations
• Provide complete and accurate documentation of new installations and/or modifications to existing equipment
• Ensure drawings, manuals, and job folders are properly maintained and filed for future use
• Assist in lab maintenance activities Job Requirements Required Qualifications:
• Applicable two year degree (or higher) or equivalent experience
• 2 years minimum professional experience (Automotive Electronic Products or Systems preferred)
• Self motivated with strong organizational skills
• Must have good verbal and written communication and be able to work in distributed global team environment
• Although infrequent, the applicant must be able to travel to domestic and international locations (engineering and manufacturing sites, suppliers, and customers) as needed.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Outlook
• Good soldering skills involving the placement of surface mount components.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in driver assistance electronics or other safety electronic products.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast­ paced environment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Familiarity of DV/PV Electrical, Environmental and EMC testing
• Basic software flashing knowledge
• Basic circuit analysis/design skills to assist in definition of test setups
