Job Description

• Meet, or exceed, production standards and reduce line NOK rates.
• Support QAP and SQE to evaluate assembly material for acceptability and contain, reject and properly identify nonconforming material
• Drive the execution of changeovers according to production schedule
• Give direction to assemblers and line leader in their daily functions and help coordinate production runs and manufacturing processes.
• Properly maintain production equipment, tooling and associated machinery to designed standards as well as planned preventive maintenance.
• Work with Engineering to continuously improve Quality, Cycle Times, Processes
• Collaborate in improvement teams to reach better productivity and efficiency out of the equipment and personnel
• Monitor measurement systems, SPC or other performance indicators and proactively respond to negative trends
• Participate and/or trigger in Jidoka events based on quality trends.
• Review product FMEA’s and Control Plans.
• Execute individual projects assigned by line engineer
• Maintain clean & orderly work area (5S)

Basic:
Enrolled in a 2 year degree program (in a technical discipline such as Mechatronics, Electronics, Robotics, Computer or Mechanical engineering technology) – and will complete degree within 12 months; OR
Possess a State Approved Journeyman’s Card; OR
A minimum of 4 years technical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred
Associates Degree in a technical discipline plus 2-5 years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance background in a manufacturing environment.
•Automotive manufacturing experience.
• Automation of processes.
• Blueprint/schematic reading, access and read electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings in SAP/CSE.
