BESTDRIVE REGION MANAGER (Midwest - Michigan, Ohio, & Indiana)

Regional Managers are responsible for driving profitability along with the development and growth of the organization. The Regional Manager oversees operations for assigned retail districts, coordinates activities, and develops the professional abilities of all members of their retail team. This position is responsible for all financial reports, metrics and standards, and enforcing company policies and procedures to meet the needs of our customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Direct store operations leaders, within the region, in achieving sales and profit targets.
• Ensure proactive solicitation of profitable business opportunities while providing proper support to existing accounts and identifying new growth opportunities.
• Address the strategic and tactical needs of the organization and implement the necessary changes.
• Identify specific customers where special emphasis needs to be applied to increase profitability.
• Ensure that prompt and effective communication occurs within your region.
• Manage people by directing and coaching.
• Attract, retain and motivate field personnel to support the long-term stability and growth of the company and to promote effective participation of team in relation to corporate objectives.
• Evaluate store operations personnel in terms of their position description & conduct.
• Establish succession planning.
• Develop sales objectives for each store operations managers within your region.
• Control regional expense budgets and ensure that all district/territory records are maintained in an accurate and current manner.
• Monitor and analyze business on a continuous basis and implement any corrective action.
• Manage business processes and implement improvements by improving process efficiencies and managing interface with other departments and divisions.
• Work closely with Sales Operations to implement pricing strategies and facilitating price and mix improvements within each store location.
• Maintain an on-going awareness of competitors’ practices and assist in the development of pricing approaches to be competitive.
• Work with Regional and National Sales managers to analyze customers and market conditions to provide management with data about market trends, competitive products, pricing, promotions and programs, and assist in monthly article forecast with regional management.
• Identify opportunities and market new product lines through customer needs-analysis and knowledge of competitor products.
• Assist in coordination, monitoring, and managing inventory and production planning to meet the forecast and unit objectives per key account.
• Responsible for the overall production and distribution of product processing through at least one Retread Plant in your region. Ultimately responsible for quality control of all manufacturing in the plant.
• Responsible for inventory control and management within the region, including timely forecasting to assure product availability.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Required education: Relevant Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent
• Required Experience: Minimum 5 years or Minimum 10 years or more if no relevant Bachelor’s Degree
• Sales and Marketing Activities - Know more about company potential and client’s needs. Increase efficiency, speed and sales volume. Facilitate the transfer of knowledge to junior sales and marketing associates. Distinguish the key difference between information and knowledge. Know how to analyze information and recommend the most efficient decisions
• Functional knowledge - Advanced knowledge of the market practices. Ability to provide basic and medium training for junior sales associates. Provides comprehensive analysis of the customer business needs and expectations vs. company products. Expert level of financial acumen and industry standards.
• Microsoft Programs and In-house specialized systems - Advanced level of professional expertise.
• Develops solutions that others can use to improve work. Power Point based presentations. Can train Basic/Medium levels.
• Consulting services - Manage relationships, information, business opportunities, customer satisfaction.
• Incorporate new information and change action plans. Create and communicate value levers. Build models to justify impact of solutions. Quantify benefits/value to the customer oral and written communications - Advanced skills in providing alternatives in the development of Sales and Marketing practices by using sound position management
• Must be able to pass a background check including employment history, SSN verification, criminal history, etc.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug test
• Commercial Tire Sales Experience Preferred
