Job Description

The selected candidate will establish and maintain the site accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives. This individual will prepare financial reports and present findings and recommendations to management. Administration of the total business processes to include inventory management, receiving and delivery processing, business computer systems (MaddenCo and SAP interface), and customer interaction will be essential for the success of this position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Preparation and review of accounts receivable aging and follow up with location on past due items.
• Bad debt reserve management
• Develop and implement accounting procedures and internal controls thru detailed analysis of current data
• Fixed Asset System management, including addition and disposals
• Monthly fixed asset roll forward schedule preparation for reporting
• Monthly depreciation journal entry preparation, and support to tax department of running requested reports for property tax purposes.
• Monthly investment reporting
• Preparation of business plan to justify investment request.
• Monthly account reconciliation for all balance sheet accounts
• Bank reconciliation using the MaddenCo system
• Assists with internal and external audit requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.

Job Requirements:
• Possession of Bachelors degree in fields such as Accounting, Business or Finance; one to three years of experience with financial analysis and reporting
• Possession of advanced knowledge of computers and application software, including Excel in creating financial reports
• Knowledge of various office procedures, and the ability to operate office equipment
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills, in addition to sound organizational skills
• Proficient in planning and organizing tasks, managing priorities, and utilizing available resources to completing tasks within the deadline
• Possession of exceptional interpersonal skills needed to effectively interact with different groups of people, including managers, sales staff, and parent company staff.
