Main Responsibilities:

* Develops, implements, and maintains ContiTech standards for Opportunity Analysis and Business Cases in cooperation with Business Units (BU’s) and regions - jointly with Head of Business Modeling based in Hannover, Germany.
* Implements, and trains U.S. organization in use of new tools and standards for business model development (e.g. business model canvas. St. Gallen Business Model Navigator) - in cooperation with Head of Business Modeling (Germany) and Regional Business Development Manager (Fairlawn) .
* Business Case creation for ContiTech Divisional or X-business unit business innovation projects in region U.S. and selectively also global projects.
* Organizational development and execution of new business ventures beyond existing fields of business - in U.S. and selectively also global projects.
* On-demand Business Modeling support for business units and region US.
* Helps to fosters Business Development procedures and link to Innovation Process & Product Life Cycle, in particular joint development of Adobe Kick-Box Approach and Running of Annual Shark Tank Event.
* Maintains best practice and lessons learned exchange / platform to implement new aspects & improvements across U.S. organization.
* Continuously increase awareness on business Modeling methods within ContiTech U.S. organization.
*Actively maintain partner network outside of ContiTech for new business model development.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurial Studies, Finance, Engineering, Social Sciences or related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
5 years work experience related to business development.
Proven track record in development and execution of business development projects and organizational development.
Solid understanding of industrial and / or automotive landscape.
Genuine interest and ability to grasp opportunities related to new revenue models and technologies.
Established network to help drive new business models for ContiTech in US and globally.
Proven intercultural experience, ideally in a large international corporation.
Excellent knowledge on business modeling methods, e.g. customer exploration maps, canvas methods, St. Gallen business model navigator.
Solid understanding of other modern marketing and market intelligence methods (Customer Journey, Value Chain Mapping, Scenario Modeling and Wargaming, Big Data analytics, etc.).
Disruptive and strategic thinker with hands-on approach and ability to get things done.
Excellent command of MS Office, in particular PowerPoint, Excel.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Solid command of traditional and modern project management tools.
Native/Fluency in English, ideally some working knowledge German, other language skills also advantageous.
