Job Description

This position will ensure successful market entry of Commercial Vehicle Tire’s (CVT) Digital Solutions in the OE Market. The field engineer will be the driver of Digital Solutions in the OE market to identify the best fitting solution for the OE Manufacturer. The field engineer will meet with OE Manufacturing C-level executives to discuss the Digital Solutions Product Portfolio for the Commercial Tire industry. In this position, the field engineer will participate in 3 rotations and be required to travel internationally (Germany) at least 3 times within the first year for 3+ weeks at a time to participate in the Drive Solutions program.

• Complete understanding of the Digital Solutions Product Portfolio
• Understanding of the ContiPressureCheck system, installation/configuration and partner certification process
• Understand the OE manufacturer needs & challenges and gather data for business
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for OE Product applications
• Prototype projects with OE manufacturers and provide feedback from customers
• Ability to carry out Digital Solutions presentations to OE Manufacturers
• Train/Assist in installation of Digital Solution products at OE Manufacturer
• Work with OE Sales to develop scope for enhancements on existing products
• Solve and communicate manufacturer concerns and support problem-solving and issue resolution
• Interact cross-functionally with OE Sales, product management and R&D to ensure alignment of OE manufacturer’s needs.
• Understand tire product line and telematic equipment that is OE specified
• Understand product market entry, assist in preparing market literature
• Understand the Sales/Business process in the markets
• Act as field engineer to resolve field problems and issues
Completion of individual program goals list for each Drive Solutions rotation:

• Pathway 1 Business and Development Projects:
▪ Work Pack ownership in projects.
▪ Program group project
▪ Business acceptance tests, system testing
▪ Work out and perform training (train the trainer)
▪ Follow pilot customer test, collect feedback
▪ Roll­out support for products
▪ Evaluation of group and individual project success (timely completion of milestones with delivered results
• Training & Individual Development:
▪ "Change Ambassador Training" / "Media training"
▪ Individual Training based on result of Development Center
▪ Mentoring/Hanover buddy
▪ Keep a development journal throughout the program to document your experience and learning
(customer feedback, challenges, tips and tricks)
▪ Regular feedback & evaluation regarding desired BIG SIX competencies

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years’ experience in a Marketing, Sales, R&D (Research & Development), or IT position
• International and domestic travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT or technical subject preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in a Marketing, Sales, R&D (Research & Development), or IT position dealing
with fleet customers (Truck Tire Fleets) and understanding of relevant client segments/competitive
• Project Management or Process experience, solid understanding of project management tools
and experience in managing and influencing indirectly
• Leadership Experience, Leading Self (supervisory experience not required)
• Intercultural/International Experience, experience of working in or with other cultures, e.g. by working
for an international company, studying abroad (min. 3 months)
