SUMMARY
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant and supporting central plant equipment to ensure continuous operation to support a high volume automotive manufacturing environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
•Responsible for the coordination of all contract facility maintenance personnel and programs ensuring that all individuals are trained and cross trained on equipment, safety and required legal & regulatory procedures and quality.
•Responsible for the maintenance and acquisition of facility equipment and systems
•Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program to cover facility equipment.
•Installation of capital equipment, or the removal or overhauling of obsolete equipment.
•Compliance to all Continental and Henderson plant permits, policies and procedures including, but not limited to, environmental, health, safety, security, ISO 14001 and Environmental Management systems, TS 16949 and Quality Management Systems, Human Resources policies, and Continental Business System elements.
•Responsible to ensure all company and leased employees, visitors and contractors are aware of and compliant to all Continental and Henderson plant permits, policies and procedures including, but not limited to, environmental, health, safety, security, ISO 14001 and Environmental Management systems, TS 16949 and Quality Management Systems, Human Resources policies, and Continental Business System elements. This includes of the disciplinary action of individuals who are in non-compliance to these policies in coordination with Human Resources department.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
•Responsible for all capital building expansion projects.
•Responsible for appraisals, training and personnel issues of the subcontractors. Assign resources and organize the work force to ensure production schedules are met.
•Other duties as required by supervisor.
•Support energy, waste water, coolant or chemical initiatives throughout building.
•Identify, prepare and document cost, safety and efficiency improvements for facilities services (energy consumption, etc.).
•Participate in continuous improvement processes identified to Facilities Group.

•Associate's Degree and 5+ years of industrial maintenance or general contractor's experience in high level manufacturing environment OR 7+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience in lieu of a degree.
•Supervisory experience.
•Good communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor's Degree (in an Engineering discipline) and 3+ years of supervisory experience within maintenance/facilities.
•General contractor license or contractor expertise.
•Building and facility management experience.
•HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, Central Coolant systems, and/or compressed air systems experience.
•Time management and project management experience.
