Global Supplier Quality Manager -- ATV and Recreational BU
Overview
In the role you will be responsible for the Supplier Quality Management in our non automotive business unit. You will also have functional responsibility for the defined parts, services, categories and suppliers within the Product Line.
Core Responsibilities:
• Plan, initiate and control preventive orientated, advanced quality management measures in the design / development phase for supplied parts and services (Feasibility Commitment, Project Reviews, Run@Rate, Safe Launch Concept, Quality Control Plan etc.), to ensure that our products meet the defined quality requirements
• Plan, initiate, implement and control the appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain in the make / market phase for all supplied goods and services, in his area of reasonability, to continuously observe the quality performance of the supplier.
• Maintain the defined Supplier Quality Management System (procedures, guidelines and tools),
to ensure the requested quality in line with the CA Quality strategies in order to meet the cost­
productivity targets
• Implement the preferred supplier and component strategy
• Execute the consequent supplier management activities to track any quality deviations
(zero tolerance for defects)
• Drive root cause analysis and enforce the definition and implementation of appropriate counter
• measures at the supplier to ensure that the parts and services meet the defined quality requirements;
• Initiate, lead and drive supplier improvement program
• Use and support the data system to collect and evaluate supplier quality related key performance indicators (KPI's) and issue periodical quality performance reports and ensure that appropriate improvement actions are initiated
• Define targets and control measures with the supplier in alignment with the CA SQM business and quality targets
• Continuous tracking of the target setting and plan fulfillment (monitoring, analysis control) in the context of Supplier Quality Management System
• Reporting of supplier quality on Product Line level.
• Coordinate collection of the supplier related quality related costs (QRC) Job Requirements Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in engineering
• 7 + years' experience in different SQM functions and systems
• Knowledge of Six Sigma Principals
• Knowledge of ISO/QS standards, GD & T, SPC, PPAP's, control plans & PFMEA's
• Skilled with Microsoft office products, advanced spreadsheet skills (MS Excel). SAP Experience helpful.
• Proficient in ability to read and interpret blue prints and schematics
• Good people skills - the position interfaces with all levels of management, production personnel and different cultures

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, casting and injection molding a plus
