Job Description

Assists Quality Supervisor / Quality Assurance Engineer/ Manager in coordinating and monitoring activities of workers engaged in inspecting / auditing Blow Mold, Extrusion and Final Assembly processes. Ensures all processes are being followed per internal SOP and Work Instructions. Ensures all product meets customer specifications. Coordinates with Production, Engineering, Logistics, etc. to facilitate the process and communicate the customer requirements to the Production floor. Assist in 8D reports and root cause analysis. Reviews audits preformed and verify corrective actions implemented.

1. Compliant Management: Support of series complaints (8D), Investigate, coordination and follow up of corrective actions; reports unresolved problems to supervisor, strong problem solving ability, attention to detail, excellent documentation skills, communicate any opportunities for improvement to supervisor(s) and/or managers

2. Quality Assurance: Ensure the product quality according the customer and internal requirements, training of inspection and test plans and documents, assign workers to work stations and monitors department activities at plastic area; demonstrates tools, equipment, and work aids used in performing quality assurance tasks

3. Series Production Process Review: Contribute to Continuous Improvements Project to reduce scrap and waste in the series production process, conduct/Support Product and LPA audits, review SOP and work instruction, assure compliance to internal and external standards such as Continental Quality Management System (QMS), FDA and ISO requirements

4. General Management: May perform duties of absent workers to maintain work schedules, may conduct work group meetings to relay management information to workers, and solicit response to work-related problems. demonstrated knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations to include product and associate safety, OSHA standards, product quality (success rates), and cost control (minimizing downtime and waste, optimizing yield); ability to prioritize, multi-task, problem solve, solid verbal and communication skills

• High School Diploma or College degree (preferred)
• At least 2 years of automotive manufacturing experience
• At least 1 year of quality experience
• At least 1 year of leadership role (preferred)
• Experience with MS Office programs and SAP ERP
The ability to Initiative, have customer orientation and intercultural competence
• The ability to coach, motivate and to be a team player

Schedule: 2nd shift
(3pm - 11pm)
