Overview:

Assist the automotive corporate tax team with a variety of corporate tax functions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Completion of monthly use tax filings, monthly foreign tax withholding filings, monthly excise tax filings, quarterly income tax declarations, annual personal property tax filings, and annual report filings.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations
• Property, Plant and Equipment review and reconciliation
• Tax notice dispute resolution
• Perform online tax research
• Other tasks as assigned

**Position is open for candidates searching currently and not for candidates seeking internships for future semesters. Job Requirements Basic Qualifications:
• Actively enrolled in at least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited degree university
• Pursuing undergraduate degree in tax, Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Able to work at least 20 hours per week in the office
• At least a 2.8 GPA
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to work cohesively with others within the finance department
• Positive attitude with attention to detail
