Job Description

• Development of air supply unit (Compressor, valves, brackets and hoses) in alignment with customer/internal requirements and package boundary conditions
• Supporting test¬ and prototype orders as well as engineering change requests incl. tracking of execution
• Assisting in planning and participation on Design¬ Review ¬Based ¬Failure ¬Mode (DRBFM)¬ and DFMEA¬ meetings
• Support for creation of internal and customer product specifications
• Evaluating FEA simulation results in accordance to load cases
• Alignment of the customer requirements with the current Continental specifications
• Requirement documentation in the Conti requirement management system
• Verification of customer / supplier requirements with internal specifications/requirements
• Tracking of engineering schedule and with other disciplines including customer milestones
• Preparation of required documents and work products for releases and gate reviews
• Definition of component specification for suppliers
• Assisting with supplier management topics like Drawing reviews and change requests
• Participation on plant launch planning meetings

Required Qualifications:
• Must be enrolled in a US accredited degree program
• Must maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8
• Must be available to intern not only during Summer
