The Test and Validation group for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is looking to strengthen its system level testing and development with the addition of a highly motivated, experienced and technically skilled System Test Manager. The ADAS Test Manager is ensuring the preparation and testing of ADAS sensor systems against system requirements and overall field performance in the base development as well as in application projects. The ADAS Test group is involved in all levels of system related activities ranging from early stages of advanced engineering & research, demonstration of new technologies and concepts, customer acquisition to full vehicle integration, joint test drives and final release to series production. At Santa Barbara location we are working on long and short range LIDAR sensor systems for autonomous driving.

Core Responsibilities:
• Functional lead for all system test activities in the project
• Creates and adopts overall test strategy for efficient and effective system testing
• Designs, develops, and implements cost­effective test methods
• Creation, review and update of test specifications, ensuring 100% coverage of requirements
• Automation of test execution, adaption and optimization of test methods
• Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing (vehicle, bench, HIL)
• Leads the preparation of system tests (system integration of ADAS components, test equipment, test environments)
• Ensures the timely completion of system tests according to automotive standards
• Analysis, documentation, discussion and tracking of test results and test progress using key performance indicators
• Participating in project review meetings and the communication to customer

Additional Responsibilities:
• Mentors and oversees the work of junior staff
• Supports the planning, tracking and performing of Design and Product Validation campaigns

Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years working experience with Bachelor degree in automotive and/or related industry
• Knowledge of project management, system level engineering, processes and standards and/or system testing in automotive industry
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Experience with Office software and intermediate programming skills (C, C++)
• Willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications:
• 7 years working experience with Bachelor/Master degree in automotive and/or aerospace industry
