Overview
Keeps track of parts as they move in and out of maintenance and will work independently with minimum supervision. The movement of parts must be accurately tracked to prevent production delays. Good record keeping is imperative. The clerk will confirm the delivery of parts and conducts an in-depth examination as the delivery is unpacked. As the parts are put in the appropriate locations, damaged and incorrectly shipped items will be returned to the seller. An accurate and adequate inventory is required

Core Responsibilities
1. Recommend any improvement or efficiencies to enhance project development providing instructions and information to all departments on affected products, materials, machinery, and procedures.
2. Write routine requisitions for maintenance supplies and spare parts.
3. Setup and maintain spare parts and supplies as required; use the company inventory system (MAINSAVER).
4. Monitor and record from "Main saver" program life of parts being replaced on all modules.
5. Set up inventory removal system (cards, check sheets, etc.) and by use of "Main Saver" maintain specified level of spare parts and supplies.
6. Maintain and improve vendor, supplier and service company contact list
7. Determine and maintain min­max stocking levels.
8. Implement required adjustments, additions and deletions of inventory items to maintain and support the factory and prevent duplication of consumable and repair parts and materials.
9. Secure quotations for vendors / contractors and support the entire buying cycle
10. Obtain pricing, place orders, receive and stock all approved spare parts and supplies.
11. Compare pricing of supplies with different vendors to reduce costs.
12. Follow up as needed on all orders and deliveries.
13. Continue to build file on U.S. companies that distribute European products or tooling.
14. Issue preventive maintenance checklist from "Main Saver" then record results and issue work orders from checks.
15. Maintain machine manuals and keep organized.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of maintenance terminology, parts and supplies
Computer proficient (MS Word, Excel)

5 years related work experience
