Core Responsibilities
Direct supervision of a Manufacturing work team responsible for the design, control, maintenance, reliability, development, training of direct reports and the matrixes and systems as related to your work team. Such as MTBF, MTR, Downtime accountability, pareto charts of top three down time causes.
Identify knowledge deficiencies for direct reports; develop training plans for in plant cross training and machine base knowledge.

Responsible for all safety, quality, maximum output, lowest cost, programming, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and vision systems for production equipment with support of technical personnel.

Work with peers to schedule, prioritize, coordinate and supervise work assignments of direct reports.

Design and implement cost reductions and cycle time improvements in Manufacturing through process and equipment improvements.

Provide technical support to production supervisors, maintenance technicians, and quality technicians to achieve maximum production.

Ensure that all spare parts for all related production equipment are set up in the crib to minimize downtime and MTTR.

Work with buyers to effectively create CEOS order and capital requests as needed.

Communicate and establish area metrics with peers with plans to improve current deficiencies on daily, monthly and yearly basis.

Reactive Responsibilities:

1. Lead and direct Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot difficult equipment issues according to priorities.

2. Request outside technical support when necessary.

Predictive Responsibilities:

1. Assign PM, track to completion, and establish measurement metrics, and evaluate frequency and effectiveness.

2. Report work order tracking in the following categories: Reactive, predictive, and PM. Job Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or 10 years previous work experience in the maintenance field.
5 plus years of maintenance experience
