Job Description

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of mechanical, electrical and manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Set up and operate machining tools such as engine lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinders, alter or construct replacement parts, recondition production tooling
• Maintain plant plumbing, heating, cooling, and related facilities and equipment
• Read and understand electrical diagrams and blueprints
• Knowledge of PLCS, electronic and mechanical systems
• Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Identify and resolve problems before they become costly and unmanageable
• Welding, fabrication and machining skills
• Must have computer skills in PLC controls and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge and utilization of lean manufacturing tools
• Self-motivated with high energy
• Value teamwork and the skills necessary to be an effective team member
• Passion for quality workmanship
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Required to maintain certifications of plant safety and housekeeping practices
• Other duties as necessary

• A 2 ­year technical degree in Electro­Mechanics or a related electronics or technical field is desired but not required
• Technical training and personal development is a plus
• Hands ­on experience in a maintenance or mechanical capacity
• Experience in a fast paced environment, with constant changing priorities and customer demands
• Industrial electrician experience is desired
