Overview:
Manager Software Engineering

Job Summary:
Directs the software systems development function, including the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for software enhancements and new products. Oversees the development of software and software tools used for design, infrastructure, and platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, and databases. Determines hardware compatibility and/or hardware design. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Manager Software Engineering

Essential Functions:
­ Administrate resources, people, budget, and infrastructure to archive the strategic and financial objectives of Business Unit
­ Define and implement strategies, goals, and general guidelines for product development
­ Ensure SW Development Processes are followed. Enable to SW team to support successful delivery of ASPICE level 3
­ Motivate and lead an international, high performance team of software engineers. Attract, develop, and retain talented and skilled individuals who bring key capabilities to the team. Develop world class talent to ensure Software Development operational excellence across a diverse set of projects
­ Establish reliable relationships with regional customers and external software engineering suppliers

Required Qualifications:
­ Required Education: Relevant BS Engineering Degree
­ Required Experience: Minimum 7 years

Technical Knowledge ­ Capable of developing technical solutions to new or highly complex organizational problems. Considered an expert to provide advice or solutions in technical area.
­ Problem Solving ­ An expert with the experience to teach to others. Organizational Problem Solving skills / Creativity.
­ Research and Development ­ Capable of managing and directing the research and development teams to meet organizational needs and to capitalize on potential products
­ Analysis / Synthesis ­ Capable of weighing the costs, benefits, risks, and chances for success, in making a decision
­ Project Management ­ Leads projects or internal sub­teams covering various internal team activities

Additional Required Qualifications:
­ Strong knowledge of state ­of­ the­ art Software engineering practices/technology trends
­ Agile Methods
­ AUTOSAR architecture
­ ASPICE, CMMI, or other software development process model
­ ISO26262
­ Cybersecurity
