Job Description

Overview
In this role you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of engineering milestones. Support process planning of machine qualifications, including validation of new part numbers and instructions to pack material.
Core Responsibilities
• Provide coordination and support that ensures tooling, fixtures, prints, and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) are ready to support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) timing and deliverables from Engineering.
• Lead the implementation and use of linked software system supporting Dynamic Control Plan (DCP) approach to FMEA, characteristic matrices, process flows and control plans.
• Responsible for part numbers that are fully qualified and capable on the appropriate machines and match the proper revision levels.
• Communicate part readiness with documentation to Quality for customer approval.
• Provide Engineering approval for machining and process documentation (WES, CAN forms, process sheets, DSS, etc.) to support advance planning of new parts and processes.
• Support and coordinate the design, procurement, and delivery of fixtures and tooling to support plant or customer timing of new product, equipment, and processes. Use the Quality and Engineering RASI chart as a guide.
• Coordinate with appropriate Mfg. Engineers the delivery of APQP requirements to support program and PPAP timing.
• Implement and manage FMEA software to ensure timely updates, use, and documentation of control methodology changes.
• Define Area Layout within CBS standards
• Support customer visits related to new equipment and process qualification. Support customer run­at­rate, Supplier Component Review, etc.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Experience with EMEA and APQP processes
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with CNC machines
