Job Description

Responsible for creating and managing systems and programs, with the goal of incentivizing third-party distributors and end users to choose commercial truck and bus tires from Continental brands.

The role will personally develop business plans for new and existing B2B programs, implement the programs, and continuously evaluate success. The role will also oversee business systems including a CRM and other software designed to support the sales cycle. Ultimately, this role is responsible for ensuring Continental is positioned to take advantage of opportunities in the commercial tire market. A successful candidate will have business savvy combined with a desire and willingness to provide hands-on support to ensure program success as part of a lean team.

Program Development:

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the sales cycle and the role of marketing programs to stimulate sales growth
• Develop business plans for new and existing programs on basis of market opportunities.
• Define business planning assumptions including required resources, outside vendors, and investment.
• Personally devise strategies to simulate program growth and measure success.
• Negotiate program priorities and budget approval with senior leadership.

Program Management:

• Manage, negotiate and maintain vendors and contracts.
• Evaluate vendors and administrators on an ongoing basis, making changes where necessary.
• Continually assess value of activities to sales efforts, and revise programs as necessary.

Business Systems and Software:

• Manage continual improvement for the CRM and other eBusiness systems in the Americas.
• Manage the planning and implementation of IT initiatives.
• Present training, updates, and improvements to field sales on a regular basis.

Project Planning:

• Interface with other teams including Pricing, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Sales leadership
• Align resources and move projects forward in a heavily matrix environment
• Proactively identify opportunities to leverage synergies

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years of professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in Marketing or Program Development
• Must be authorized to work in the US without visa or other sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
• 10+ years of professional experience with the following:
• B2B marketing in a technical industry
• Incentivizing third-party distribution networks (dealers)
• Working in a multicultural, highly diverse team
