Overview:
Responsible for payroll general ledger activity and inquiries. Ensures all general ledger activity is posted to proper accounts and new wage types are posting accurately.
Provides monthly reporting related to payroll GL postings, headcount and census activity to accounting teams across the organization for all US payroll.
Provides analysis of postings where necessary, and works with customer to communicate general ledger changes and activity on­going as needed.
Responsible for all tax equalization entries into payroll for W2 purposes for inpat/expat population and provides ongoing support with year end activities as needed.
Assists with tax notice resolution and management of withholding tax accounts and activity.
Core Functions:
• Responsible for standardized monthly reporting­ general ledger, headcount, census
• Provides analysis on payroll posting activity, general ledger inquiries and forecasting
• Enters all tax equalization payments into SAP payroll to ensure accurate YTD taxability
• Provides ad­hoc reporting as needed
• Assists with tax application processing and tax notice inquiry Job Requirements Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience OR 4 years of relevant experience
• Advanced Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• 2 years of payroll experience
• Ability to extract and analyze large amounts of general ledger activity
• Capability of performing, understanding and explaining basic payroll and tax computations
