Job Description

Overview
Oversee the organization’s production operations. With direction of Plant Management, CFMs and PVSMs coordinates and directs the activities of the manufacturing production teams engaged in the production of assemblies and finished product. The role requires the ability to monitor employees and organize the workflow to ensure production goals are being met daily. Administers personnel requirements. Performs Line Process, 5S and safety audits maintaining a safe, clean and organized work environment to meet production goals. Assist with accident reports and investigations. Maintain and track employee’s time and attendance records in SAP to ensure compliance with Company Policies and Procedures.

Core Responsibilities
Coordinate production flow activities to meet build schedules, shipments, and quality goals. Support Plant Superintendent in Operational Efficiency and Performance.
Performs Line Process Audits (LPA)
Coordinates daily production line staffing
Must ensure operators are qualified for their positions and in compliance with “IMT” system
Performs 5S audits. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Performs Safety audits
Assist with Accident Reports and Accident Investigations
Issue detailed shift reports and escalate issues per procedures.
Develop improvement ideas and encourage ideas from employees. Promote Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Administers personnel requirements (status changes, performance reviews, time records, accident reports, etc.)
Track employees Time and Attendance records in SAP
Ensures employees are in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures.
Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic, self­-motivated and results driven
Strong knowledge of organizational workflow and ability to delegate by assigning and reassigning responsibilities to meet customer needs.
Critical thinking and problem ­solving skills, including ability to spot issues in efficiency and productivity and suggest improvements

Minimum Qualifications:
Line Management experience required
Desire to continuously improve
Ability to learn and apply lean manufacturing principle and applications
Must be proficient in Time Administration SAP system
Associates Degree
Ability to motivate employees
4 years of experience in a variety of manufacturing roles
Strong communication and Interpersonal skills
Ability to be an active coach to the manufacturing shop floor

Must have legal authorization to work in the US without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor degree

Must not be on a current Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)
Must have a current performance rating of: ME, SEE, or EE. Must not have an Expected More (EM) PM rating

Must be mobile on the production floor. Able to navigate lift gates and areas between production lines.
Able to lift 28 pounds unassisted, Must be able to stand for periods up to 12 hours Must be able to Push, Pull (racks), Reach, Twist, Turn, Stoop, Walk, Stand for at minimum a 12 hour shift.
