Overview:
Responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of a product which meets (internal or external) customer requirements, within the agreed budget, quality, and timeframe.

Responsibilities:
Project kickoff meeting to the internal team after completion of the official award.
Manage project resources through indirect reporting
Responsible for managing overall timing.
Coordinate with senior management and the customer if the project is at risk or has the red issue.
Coordinate tactical plans and integrate project resources and stakeholders
Provide and coordinate the technical support to sales for customer quotations and changes.
Be the face to the customer for overall project status with dedicated support from a specialist of appropriate groups.
Initial contact person until specialist is located and engaged.
Maintain an overview of project status.
Provide the plant with the necessary information and guidance to ensure proper supply chain management for proper management of inventory and for ramp up/down.
Monitor the APQP activities (supplier PPAPs, customer PPAPs, quality ppm 6 months post-launch).
Achievement of project(s) and related operating results; delivery on scope, budget and schedule Special Assignments Job Requirements Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in engineering
At least 5 years experience in automotive engineering and/or project management
Must have experience working on projects within the full product development lifecycle (concept through production)
Must be able to travel 10% of your time

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automotive electronics
Experience in program management
Compitantcy in MS Project
