Job Description

The Project Manager delivers plant projects on time within budget and scope. The Project Manager must possess strong business skills with experience in management, budgeting and analysis.

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Conduct prioritization meetings, seek approval from Executive Management and manage the overall plant tactical & strategic investment plan
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on­time, within scope and within budget
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Research and make recommendation on new industry innovations to enhance plant performance
• Manage the relationship with plant stakeholders via routine project update sessions
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Additional job duties as necessary to facilitate plant operation
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in the field of Engineering for technical project managers and minimum of 7 years in increasing responsibility having managed multiple projects.

Specific Skills and Abilities (In Order of Importance)
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands­on experience in project management
• Excellent client­facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi­tasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office & MS Project
• PMP certification is a plus
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem­solving skills.
