Job Description

The Quality Engineer is be responsible for implementing process control programs that will assure production that meet or exceed Continental specified requirements. He/she leads continuous improvements by utilizing the appropriate quality tools and provides data analysis.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) with Engineering in conjunction with advanced quality-planning activities and monitor the status throughout production life
• Develop, implement and maintain Statistical Process Control techniques
• Assure compliance of the documented quality system (IATF 16949) and promote consistency throughout the organization
• Facilitate and participate root cause analysis of quality defects and make recommendations for corrective actions through Lessons Learned documentation
• Perform audits and implement corrective actions for non-conformities together with the business team

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum of two (2) years automotive experience
• Strong analytical and proven team oriented problem solving-skills require
• In-depth knowledge of quality engineering techniques
• Experience in successfully managing the customer relationship in the automotive industry
