Job Description

Responsible for maintaining various QA and Lab databases.
Develop and improve quality systems (PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, Control Plan, Visual Aids, Global Visual Standards, Work Instructions, Corrective and Preventive Actions, as well as other Quality systems) to maintain compliance.
Responsibility for Measurement System Analysis in manufacturing.
Lead continuous improvement / corrective action teams.
Assist in the product return process.
Assist in the product release process.
Participate and support the Quality Point Roles in problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
Focused effort on driving productivity improvements / low waste.
Provide systems training as needed.
Serve as a backup for Supplier Improvement Technician and Statistical Technician roles.
Lead Auditor role for ISO 9001 Internal Auditing Team.
Responsible for Managing various OE Customer Portals.
Responsible for Managing and assisting various QMS systems ( Management Review, PPAP,APQP, MSA, etc.).
Manager the daily operations and improvements in the Main Testing Lab.
Responsible for Supervising and Training Lab Techs (4).
Responsible for uptime and improvement of Lab Testing Equipment.
Assuring proper methods of testing are met according to internal and third party standards.
Perform capability analysis aimed at variation reduction.

Bachelors Degree in Business, Mathematics, or Engineering
Computer skills using Minitab, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word
Minimum 2 years experience as a Quality Engineer
Strong writing and verbal skills
Works well in team environment

Preferred:
ASQ certified Quality Engineer
Lead or internal auditor experience
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
Minimum 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer
Supervision Skills
