Job Description

The goal of this internship in Quality Management is to apply knowledge acquired in the class room to real world situations, as well as gain the skills and experience to prepare the student for a successful career. Continental is a Global Automotive Organization whose products have been providing improvements to automobile driving all over the world. Any intern working in our organization will see first hand how an exceptional quality product is developed, produced and how a global company operates based on internal processes, procedures and best practices. The intern will get exposure to Advanced Product Quality Planning and PPAP processes; Audit methodology; Operator Instructions and other process documentation; and Calibration.

Provide administrative support to the Quality Management leadership team and key stakeholders.

Essential functions:
1) Creation and update of Process Instructions
2) Storage of data in the Continental databases
3) Creation of graphs with MS Office and other software programs
4) Create an overview with all local procedures and work instructions.
5) Gather, create, and input all quality department trainings
6) Update of powerpoints
7) Submit parts for annual layout (track, pull parts, take parts to lab, provide drawings, update file)
8) Potential Support PPAP builds
9) Scan and file documents
10) Help enter 8D's into local database
11) Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in a US accredited degree program
• Must maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8
• Proficiency on Microsoft Office Power Point, Excel, Word and Access
