Job Description

Project Intern will be working on:

Particle analysis from cleanliness test filter

Project Description and Objective (Include what the Intern will be learning):
­ The objective is to identify various metallic particles on the cleanliness test filter
­ The candidate will be learning how to extract particles from a filter
­ The candidate will be learning how to operate Scanning Electron Microscope or Energy Dispersive spectrometry to identify different metallic particles
­ The candidate will be designing fixtures/jig to aid the process
­ The candidate needs to know how to use inventor for fixture design to improve particle extraction process and process flow.

Outcome of Project (Goals of what the intern should accomplish):
To streamline particles extraction or improve process flow on the 47mm cleanliness test filter.

Requirements: Student must be enrolled and currently working towards Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering. Available to work 6 months (full/part time).
