The Quality Manager in the project is hosting the quality gate process. They are responsible to monitor the maturity of the product development and guides the project team in terms of quality increasing activities.
In detail:
• Follows up on the findings of the quality gates and qualification programs (DV&PV)
• Introduces, train and maintain quality assessment methodologies, e.g. Fishbone-Diagram, Yokoten, 8D, 5Why, DRBFM, FMEA
• Is preparing and organizing the product qualification/validation plan (DV & PV)
• Is coordinating the failure assessment of failed parts in the DV&PV
• Is coordinating the failure assessment of field return in the development phase
• Is introducing KPI's related to quality and prepares reports, e.g. Risk assessment, issue burn down curves Job Requirements • University degree Bachelor, Master, Dipl.-Ing
• Several years of experience within the automotive QM area
• Several years of experience within automotive projects
• Technical Leadership experience in similar domain
