Core Responsibilities:

• SQM representative in project core team from quote phase until safe launch for each component is achieved
• Drive Continental Supplier Quality Management System, measures and improvement activities within the project
• Identify any component risks and develop solutions based on Continental Global Quality and "Quality First " initiatives
• Escalate critical topics for component introduction (technical, timing, etc.) to Business Unit level
• Lead and drive component risk analysis between Plant SQM and the supplier(s)
• Guide customer requirements review for purchased components
• Support customer requested audits at Continental locations related to component status
• Drive the team to identify critical and long lead time components during Maturity Evaluation (ME)
• Track and document component introduction status and report to Project Team
• Drive and support the team for the entire project milestones (MLC gates) to achieve on-time
• Provide answers to all SQM-related gate review questions for each MLC gate to the project team
• Support Purchasing during sourcing evaluation process
• Work with Plant SQM to provide continuous APQP and PPAP status for each purchased component
• Drive KPI management
• Maturity Evaluation (ME) on time and updated
• Supplier Component Reviews (SCR) to green status
• Feasibility Commitment (FC) to green status
• APQP support to Plant SQM
• PSW on-time, and first time
• Provide input for supplier improvement programs
• Implement lessons learned within SQM and BU for component introduction, design / specification topics, supplier selection, technology, and series production issues Job Requirements Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 years of experience in Project Management, Supplier Quality, Purchasing or Engineering.
• MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience in Project Management, Supplier Quality, Purchasing or Engineering.
