Job Description

Tests and conducts routine and non­routine analysis of raw materials, in­process, and finished product, using variety of testing devices and procedures to maintain product quality. 
Interface with production personnel to include hourly and salary work force to organize sorting activity, conduct containment activity. Put in place standard processes for each shift with regards to product quality. Create good working relationships on the shifts with internal customer base as well as have good communication skills for our internal team and external suppliers.

High School Diploma/GED
Self-starter, strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with multiple team members
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably mechanical in nature)
Able to read and interpret blue prints. Understanding of GD&T
Experience with detailed measurement devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to create work instructions and reports using data from Excel or mini-tab.
Experience with interpreting SPC/trend chart data.
Experience with layered audit processes.


Associate’s degree
Prior experience with quality and problem solving tools (5 why, A3, Fishbone, Six Sigma, etc.)
