Position Summary:

Sales responsibility for the Continental Trackman Rubber Track and Continental Specialty Agricultural Products and other ancillary products. This includes OEM and Distribution sales for these lines working closely with the Industrial Products Sales team members and KAM account managers, and related OEM distributor network. Furthermore, this individual will Interacting with related Commercial organization, Product Supply, Customer Service, Finance Development and Supply Chain team members.

*** This virtual sales position could be based in IA, ND, SD, East NE or MN. Relocation is not required.***

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the Rubber Track and Specialty Ag Sales in assigned region (Canada and US sales)
• Participate and support in all defined sales and marketing programs within the assigned region for these product groups.
• Maintain and increase sales via distributors and OEM accounts for all Rubber Track and specialty Ag applications.
• Interact with end users and OEM Dealers where Conti Products are used and/or there may be warranty resolution support or Product Training required.
• Achieve and maintain best in class service performance by coordinating with commercial, engineering and manufacturing teams at ContiTech and related end users and customers
• Win and launch new business on existing and new platforms by coordinating with commercial, engineering and manufacturing teams at ContiTech and at customers.
• Maintain a working knowledge of current industry standards and performance needs
• Maintain a familiarity of market landscape including market share, competitive offerings and emerging trends
• Attend tradeshows to help identify new market opportunities.
• Gather market intelligence data for North America Region and provide feedback to management.
• Employ use of Salesforce.com, Business Funnel, SAP and any further tools shared and developed to help drive revenue / achieve AOP.
• Manages sensitive, highly confidential, and proprietary information with discretion and the utmost level of integrity and confidentiality
Participate on committees and teams as required
• Develop comprehensive growth strategies for Related accounts in assigned Region for Rubber Track, Related Products, and Specialty Ag Products
• Collaborate with KAM, Industrial Products (IP) Sales members to increase market share in assigned region.
• Execute pricing and product strategies for major market segments to meet short and long-term business goals
• Maintain a familiarity of market landscape including market share, competitive offerings and emerging trends.
• Actively communicate new product ideas in the areas of products, digitization and service.
• Handle coordination and negotiations for all product quality issues for the Rubber Track and Specialty Ag programs in assigned region.
• Manage all Customer contracts involving Rubber Track and Specialty Ag products in assigned Region
• Developing forecasts for sales, margins and expenses on a rhythm set by the BU
• Maintain a safe workplace ensuring observation of appropriate safety and occupational health rules and regulations; attend safety training relative to position; report any infractions of safety procedures to the facility Safety Officer.
• Perform light duties and other related duties as required and assigned.
• Employ use of Salesforce.com, Business Funnel, SAP and any further tools shared and developed to help drive revenue / achieve AOP.
• Develop and implement all training materials, and modules; Lead major customer and sales training events.
• Accompany and support field sales on closing major new business opportunities including calling on prospective and existing customers and end users.
• 50% travel to various locations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or related field.
3+ years’ experience in technical sales or related field, Agricultural Product industry or industrial distribution experience is highly preferred.
Proven ability to successfully interact within cross functional teams.
Proven ability to proactively initiate, develop and complete projects.
Analytical skills are required.
Must possess experience in understanding business P&L, financial analysis, profitability assessments, forecasting, and analyzing sales data with the ability to understand and react to market and sales trends.
Must have a successful track record of developing and implementing sales plans and driving actions to guarantee continued success.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint is required. Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, problem solving, interpersonal and customer relationship skills are a necessity.
Must have strong negotiation skills.
Willingness and ability to travel 50% to various locations.
