Job Description

*** This position can sit in either Deer Park, IL or Auburn Hills, MI. ***

Lead and support regional credit management function and activities involving customer relationships management, quotations, payment terms controlling, risk management, and insolvencies.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Lead and support building of customer relationships (internal and external).
2. Coordinate, support and interface with responsible departments for setting payment terms.
3. Support business quotation process by providing customer intelligence information, and coordinating activities across internal organizations
4. Interface with and support regional and global teams on customer risk management areas including insolvencies and sanctions.
5. Perform administrative duties as required to support risk management activities, such as establishing customer profiles, risk rating, and credit limit, and develop customer evaluation procedures on global/regional scale
6. Assist in financial planning, reporting and analytic requirements as defined.
7. Assist and support various departmental projects and processes, including system implementation, external audits, customer administration, and other ad hoc financial duties as defined.
8. Lead various activity surrounding customer master data maintenance including data maintenance and training of various key user groups.

Required Qualifications:
• BS/BA in Finance or Accounting required.
• 5+ years in General Finance, Controlling or Accounting experience
• Strong general business, systems, and process knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior credit management and/or Accounts Receivable analyst experience
• SAP experience
• Automotive experience
