Overview:
This main responsibility of this position will ensure the quality of Body Control Module (BCM) Life Time Testers (LTT) and on time delivery. Contribute and drive generic concepts and methods to Continental Cross Function Testing (CFT) LTT specification creators. Work closely with Continental project team members and Automotive Quality Laboratories (AQL) to ensure successful Design and Product Validation (DV/PV) tests.

Job Responsibilities:
• Support purchasing & quality groups to select the most appropriated components and vendors (suppliers) for the test equipment.
• Contributes to BCM product test strategies, definition, design, development and release of LTT.
• Analyze, evaluate and resolve Test Incident Reports (TIRs) generated by Test Equipment for BCM devices under test (DUTs).
• Interfaces with AQL to spearhead acceptance and handoff process of test equipment from external suppliers.
• Participates in the kick off of a new program.
• Contributes to Continental BCM special technology circuit libraries and test techniques.
• Assesses project requirements to provide equipment quotes or new projects and design changes.
• Contributes lessons learned to Continental LTT global Community.
• Reviews and approves LTT specifications created by Continental CFT engineers.
• Audits LTT supplier validation results and signs off on equipment as business unit representative. Job Requirements Basic Qualifications:
• Associates Degree.
• 3+ years of automotive testing experience.
• Communication skill set reflects ability to work effectively with offsite suppliers and team members.
• Solid understanding of Vector CAN and LIN tools as applied to Ford, Chrysler and GM communication bus standards.
• Strong knowledge and experience of DV/PV environmental requirements and tests for GM, Chrysler or Ford OEMs.
• Experience in the development and validation of automotive BCM, Door Seat Module (DSM), Door Control Unit (DCU) or Seat Control Unit (SCU) LTT. LTT shall have supported multiple DUTs while operated and monitored concurrently.
• Execution of Machine Statistical Analysis (MSA) and Gage R&R.
• Intermediate Project Management skills.
• Two years experience in Automotive Industry.
• Two years related experience to LTT specification creation and LTT supplier management.
• Experience reflects a minimum of one BCM LTT integrations or developments through supplier management.
• Two years National Instruments Lab view experience.

Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
• Solid understanding of Vector CAN and LIN tools as applied to Ford, Chrysler and GM communication bus standards.
• Good Experience with Ford, Chrysler and GM diagnostic routines and requirements.
• Strong knowledge and experience of DV/PV environmental requirements and tests for GM, Chrysler, Honda, Nissan and Ford OEMs.
• Experience in the specification, development and validation of automotive BCM LTT operating at greater than 80 Amps steady state. BCM shall have had a minimum of 180 inputs and outputs total while operated and monitored concurrently.
• Solid understanding and execution of Machine Statistical Analysis (MSA) and Gage R&R.
• Intermediate Project Management skills.
• Five years Automotive Industry experience.
• Five years related experience to LTT specification creation and LTT supplier management.
• Experience reflects a minimum of two successful BCM LTT integrations or developments through supplier management.
• Five years National Instruments Lab view experience.
