Job Description

System Engineering is a key to project success. With products becoming ever more complex and demands on product reliability increasing likewise System Architecture plays a key role in keeping the overview of complex systems.

Core Responsibilities:
• Manages and derives system and component requirements of complex LIDAR systems and sub­systems for automotive applications.
• He/she is responsible for the collection, analysis, distribution, and tracking of relevant requirements in alignment with the development process and applicable legal constraints.
• Lead for cross discipline technical topics (electronics, software, optics, algorithm, mechanics…) and/or vehicle system level interface issues.
• Support quotation process with technical knowledge of designs to meet specifications and requirements (critical requirements analysis, create project specific system/product architecture)
• Evaluate internal and external engineering design change requests

Required Qualifications:
• 3rd or 4th year Bachelor degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Physics/Mathematics or equivalent
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Minimum GPA of 2.8
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited university degree program for the duration of the internship program
• Must work a minimum of 16 hours a week.
• You must be able to start immediately – this is not a summer internship only.
