Job Description

This role will be responsible for managing the parts inventory and supplies for maintenance technicians and operations processes. Provides clerical and physical support with Total Productive Maintenance and general stores inventories including inventory control and SAP.

Essential Functions and Duties:
• Develop and execute reports/communications with customers and suppliers.
• Utilizes data to solve problems and drive sense of urgency.
• Monitor inventory levels of the factory store areas. Adjust inventory in the system (identify old and obsolete parts).
• Strive for cost savings in delivery and materials while maintaining quality operating supplies and maintenance equipment.
• Create Repair and Returns for Material Tracking.
• Create SAP numbers for all stores items for inventory control.
• Analyze monthly consignments for accuracy and make appropriate corrections.
• Set up SAP bar codes for scanning and inventory management by Work with Supply Chain and Purchasing departments to optimize processes and reduce purchasing cycle times such as barcoding of transactions.
• Conduct storeroom inventory as required.
• Work with Vendors on Vendor managed inventories.
• Expedite orders when necessary.
• Receive and deliver daily MRO items.
• Coordinate and maintain PM system and respective documentation.
• Ability to learn and utilize new software.
• Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Maintains housekeeping standards in storeroom areas and storage areas by department and machine type. Parts and bins are to be clearly identified with SAP numbers/bar codes.
• Follows company health, safety and environmental policies/procedures.

Minimum Requirements
• A High School diploma is required. Associates degree (or higher) in a technical field is strongly preferred.
• Five (5) or more years related experience supporting maintenance functions required.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Advanced experience with SAP and/or IMAINT systems preferred.
• Familiar with bar-coding/scanning equipment in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) environment preferred.
• Experience with computerized inventory control software or CMMS is required.
• Basic familiarity with the tools and mechanical/electrical components is necessary for the position.
• Must be willing to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to be certified to drive fork trucks/material handling equipment.

Abilities Required
• Excellent SAP skills.
• Data entry capability.
• Create charts / graphs from data sheet
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple changing priorities to ensure machine downtime is not impacted by lack of material availability.
• Ability to develop action plans, solve problems.
• Flexibility in work hours and duties.
• Ability to drive a fork truck.
• Ability to load/unload racks in the general stores area.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervisory oversight, attentive to detail, and be highly organized.
• Must be able to work in an environment with dust exposure, hot work areas in summer and cold work areas in the winters.
• Must be able to wear required PPE.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must have problem-solving, job planning and organizing skills and abilities.
• Must meet the physical requirements including, but not limited to lifting, walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders. Must be able to lift 25lbs.
