Job Description

The Winding Supervisor is directirecly responsible for operating his/her shift in a manner that meets or exceeds all production, budget, safety, and quality expectations in order to produce a product consisitent with customer requirements.

Direct and supervise the activity of hourly winding employees on assigned shift.

Review activities of the shift with Department Manager.

Monitor shift expendature (labor, supplies,and parts) to ensure budget goals are met.

Monitor machine and personnel performance (efficency, production quotas, and required pounds to ensure production goals are accomplished.

Implement production schedule changes in accordance with the Department Manager and Scheduler.

Monitor hourly personnel performance to encure compliance with company policy.

Check production counts and make sue they are entered into SAP correctly.

Fill out necessary shift reports including absenteeism, Vacation reports, scheduling updates, and items to adressed by incoming shift.

Perform safety audits and review withDepartment Manager. Job Requirements Basic Qualifications
3 years supervisory experience
3 years manufacturing experience
Strong problem solving skills
Strong quality orientation
